Room Reveal: A Sweet & Chic Bedroom

A few weeks ago we revealed a photo of my daughter's bedroom on Instagram and it became our most "liked" photo ever!  With all of the questions and comments we received related to the room, we decided to share a blog post and source guide dedicated to this stylish space!  Scroll to the end of this post for the full source guide.

 The inspiration for this space began with the bathroom and our best-selling Parker Chevron Wallpaper in Bermuda Pink.  While we were building this home, I was anxious to find a space to use this wallpaper and I decided to use it in my daughter's en-suite bathroom.  I paired the wallpaper with our Manele Bay Mirror for a modern, coastal touch.

Three large windows are the focal point of the room and I wanted to keep them front and center.  To coordinate with the bathroom, we had custom window treatments made using the same Parker Chevron design, from artist Kristen Leigh, for the bedroom.  We framed the windows with built-in bookcases and a window seat.  Adorned with a custom pink cushion, this cozy window seat is the perfect perch to sit and read.

Bedding can make such an impact on a space and I chose bedding that was sophisticated and feminine, but also playful.  I paired our Sagana Quilt in Pink  - featuring a soft and sweet pinstripe - with our Beaufort Ruffle Duvet Cover and Beaufort Body Pillow for a feminine, shabby chic touch.

Every room in our home has a nod to the coast, even if subtle. Wrapped in rattan with mango-wood beads, our Wailea Chandelier and coordinating Wailea Sconce  offer a beachy-chic vibe.  We added more coastal touches when styling the built-ins with our Molokai Grasscloth Boxes, natural shells and  pink sea glass beads.

Our most asked question, is the paint color!  My daughter's favorite color is purple, so we chose Whispering Wind by Benjamin Moore - a beautiful, soft purple tone that marries perfectly with all of the pops of pink.
