CC ACK Beach House: 2nd Floor & Basement Mood Boards

I’m excited to pick up where we left off last week with the first floor mood boards! Today, we’re diving into the designs for the second floor and basement level.  These spaces are full of soon-to-be-released CC wallpapers and art, so enjoy the sneak peek of what's coming to the shop this summer!

Let’s start our tour upstairs, where we’ll explore three of the guest bedrooms all complete with an en suite bath. 

GUEST BEDROOM 1

This space is inspired by the tranquil beauty of the coast, featuring soothing blues and white with subtle pops of pink - a nod to my six year old daughter who will call this room hers when we stay. We’ve incorporated our new Saline Bed and Tokeneke Wool Rug, paired with a fresh blue faux grasscloth wallpaper designed to mimic the look of grasscloth—more durable and less delicate (coming this summer!).  To bring in a literal touch from the sea, we'll being adding some new coastal art. 

In the bathroom, our signature Parker Chevron Blue Wallpaper will make a bold statement.  We replaced the mirror and light and the existing bath vanity with our  Anguilla Vanity, to create a more custom designed look.  We'll be adding another touch of pink with Gray Malin's Cabana Art.

GUEST BEDROOM 2

Welcome to our sea green room, where we’ve blended calming aqua hues with our signature blues. The custom-upholstered wave bed will serve as the room’s focal point, paired with our shell-encrusted side tables for added texture and coastal charm.

A grounding sisal rug ties the space together.  To inject some playful energy, we’ll be incorporating fun painted cabana stripe walls paired with our Seaweed Prints. 

The en suite bathroom will feature a stunning new green and blue wallpaper from our upcoming summer collection.  To create a custom look, we upgraded the bathroom with new lighting, art, mirror and vanity.

THE BUNK ROOM

This playful space features built-in twin beds—perfect for kids and sleepovers.  We wanted to keep the energy playful, so we’ve added a ticking stripe wallpaper and some nautical ship art - both exciting new designs debuting this summer. To finish it off, we'll be painting the shiplap and built-in cabinetry in Benjamin Moore Downpour Blue 2063-20.

Adjacent to the bunk room, we’re designing a bathroom with a whimsical nautical vibe, featuring our Huntington Wave Navy Wallpaper, Anchorage Mirror, and Nautical Knot Art to complete the look.

BASEMENT

Lynn is always encouraging me to step outside my blue-loving comfort zone. While green is often my natural second choice, she really pushed me to explore something different. Together, we decided that Nantucket red—the quintessential color of the island—would be the perfect addition to this beach house. We’ve incorporated Nantucket reds throughout the basement - in the living space, game area and bedrooms - bringing a unifying warmth to the entire space.

BASEMENT POWDER BATH

I’ve always had a love for shells, so I decided to create a space that celebrates them. The powder bathroom in the basement was the perfect spot for this. We’ve added one of my favorite CC wallpapers, Coquillages Grasscloth, paired with our stunning woven rattan Avalon Vanity (coming this summer). A shagreen mirror and our mini shell art complete the look, bringing a touch of coastal elegance to the space.

BASEMENT BEDROOM 1

We’re designing two brand-new stripe wallpapers for this Nantucket project, set to launch on Cailíní Coastal this summer, that feature Nantucket red—a color I’ve come to realize is surprisingly hard to find on the market for interiors! The first of the bedrooms will feature our Maldives Bed, adding a textured touch to the space.

This playful nautical bathroom showcases a new summer wallpaper, inspired by Nantucket’s history. The design features a historic whaling motif, capturing the essence of the island's maritime heritage.

BASEMENT BEDROOM 2

Building on the striped wallpaper from the previous bedroom, this space amplifies the Nantucket red, creating a bold statement. The rich hue is beautifully balanced with our Cisco Dresser, adding texture, while coastal shell art and nautical accents enhance the room’s fresh, seaside allure.

BASEMENT BATHROOM 2

The en suite bathroom features our best-selling Riley Scallop Wallpaper.  We added a complimentary scallop mirror for a feminine touch. To complete the look, we added our Sea Fan art, bringing a natural, coastal element to the space.
