Introducing Cailini Coastal x Steinbach Nutcrackers

As the holiday season approaches, I’m thrilled to share a project that has been close to my heart for the past year—a collaboration that brings a beloved coastal design to life in the most magical way. We’re introducing two exclusive nutcrackers, handcrafted by the world renowned Steinbach company, just in time for the holidays. These pieces are not just decorations—they’re heirlooms, thoughtfully handcrafted in Germany with tradition and coastal charm, blending the best of both worlds.

The idea for this collaboration first came about after working with our dear friend Kelly from WH Hostess. In 2023, Kelly designed an exclusive print for us, featuring coastal-inspired nutcrackers. We debuted the print on wrapping paper and shatterproof cups, and to say it was a hit would be an understatement. That’s where Steinbach comes in. If you’re not familiar with Steinbach, they’ve been crafting world-famous nutcrackers in Germany for over 200 years. Their commitment to tradition, attention to detail, and the finest materials make them the gold standard in nutcracker making. We knew they were the perfect partner to bring our coastal-inspired nutcracker designs to life.

The result? Two exquisite, limited-edition nutcrackers that capture the spirit of coastal living while honoring Steinbach’s rich legacy. The Admiral Nutcracker is decked out in a classic navy suit, complete with a sturdy rope and an adorable lighthouse, symbolizing the guiding light of the holiday spirit. The Seafarer Nutcracker, with his navy blue and white stripes and jaunty red neckerchief, is a nod to the timeless adventures of the sea. Both pieces are limited to just 200, each with a numbered plaque that ensures its authenticity and uniqueness.

What makes this collaboration so special is that it marries the old and the new—the centuries-old craftsmanship of Steinbach with the fresh, coastal designs that we’ve made our signature at Cailíní Coastal.
